Limmer is crossed by many railroad tracks - this system is widely ramified, but just a fraction of it is actually used.
Most of the routes can be found between the sluice, Linden harbour and the highway.
here the tracks lie idle - nobody uses them - ideal conditions for you, cause you know how to use them.
The system of tracks gives you the opportunity to move on routes, no pedestrian or cyclist would normally use.
A lot of unexplored places and spaces are waiting for someone who discovers them.

But not just the routes, also the way you move can be an adventure. Balancing on the tracks is a comparative easy exercise - imagine you driving with a soapbox where once gigantic trains moved. Not that absurd as it seems.
We developed a proposal which gives you the possibility to build your own soapbox-handcar.
All you need are the materials written in the checklist above. In the handout the procedure is explicit explained.
With a little bit of technical skills you can travel elegant and comfortable cross Limmer. It's advantagous to have somebody with you pushing you forward.
The usable routes are explained in the handout.
With this model there still can be problems at points and level-crossings, but maybe you can develop a better way to construct the handcar.

Best wishes from AufTasche and good luck as the engine-driver
